AWARDS & RECOGNITION
Friendliest Team Trophy This
award focuses on the intended spirit of the league,
which was to promote a friendly
and relaxed game of recreational soccer. The trophy
was created to emphasize the fun and comradery
the games should promote.
Teams "rate" each
game on a score from 0 to 6, by filling in
the rating on their "Team Ballot" immediately
following the game. Rating is based
on sportsmanlike behaviour and
how relaxed and enjoyable the game was.
Teams that fail to vote will not
be
elegible to win!

These awards are based on
each team voting immediately following the
game for one
male and one female player who exemplified
the best combination of sportsmanship and skill.
The
teams
pencil the names in on their "Team Ballot",
which is turned in at the end of the season.
The emphasis
here is on the sportsmanship, and the skill
is judged by how it is applied on the field (ie
-
somebody
with a high level of skill who doesn't pass
the ball and/or plays with the wrong attitude
is not
getting
a vote).
